It would be a CRIME to travel all the way to Texas and not buy a shiner family reunion case and a six pack of their latest concoction.
But luckily, with the help of the Internet, I was able to remove my old alternator and install a brand new one. It took about an hour after I had to walk inside several times to buy tools. The repair shop charged my battery enough to make it across the street to Lowe’s and I changed the part out there. Now, for only $137 (vs the $400 wanted by the repair shop) I ended up with a new alternator, a tow, a diagnostic, and a whole tool kit plus some wrenches. I say I made out like a bandit, and all it took was a little research, elbow grease, and a sunburn.
Sadly, on our way home from Denton to Zac and Caroline’s place, Henry had some troubles and had to be towed to a repair shop. The towing company was named Tow Jam haha
The next morning we met up and had brunch at the Abbey Cafe on the square. I had a delicious full English breakfast with a MANmosa (huge mimosa). Caroline never fails to impress with her fashion.
After the reception everyone got changed and headed to Loophole, a bar on the square across from where they got married.
I miss my handsome boyfriend! He lent me his socks for my trip :) its hard to think he’ll be gone for two whole months! I’ll manage, though :) I have lots of excitement planned.
Sneak peek of the wedding photos for Zac and Caroline :) it was such a beautiful ceremony! Short and sweet, done on the lawn of the Denton courthouse at the square. Congrats you guys, you’re married!
